  • Description: The male marbled white moth has a distinctive tuft of hair arising from the base of its foreleg tibia. It can be differentiated from the related species Nyctemera tripunctaria by the arrangement of spots on its forewing. The larvae are purplish and hairy, with yellowish anterior somites marked by short dorsal and lateral white streaks. The pupa is yellowish and spotted with black1.
